Fresh off releasing another batch of singles, Drake has jokes. On late Wednesday (Aug. 28) night, the Toronto rapper playfully called himself out on his infamous mirror selfies but quickly insisted the signature pose isn’t entirely his fault.

“I’m not aware of my picture or mirror face. It’s a curse from birth, and I’m influenced by what I see,” he captioned his Instagram post. The carousel included a throwback photo of Joe Budden at the beach and another of Duke Dennis, who actually responded.

In the comments section, the internet personality wrote, “LMAO.” Drake replied, “[Wearing a] Fendi head wrap [and] having someone else take the pic in the mirror is wild. You [are] a wild boy, Duke.”

Dennis hilariously shot back, “You got a few pictures that give off the same vibe,” to which the Grammy Award-winning artist responded, “I accept my contributions to the mirror face members… We are akin to one another.” Unfortunately, Budden has yet to react, though fans can likely expect to hear about the interaction on his eponymous podcast.

It’s also worth mentioning that other celebrities got in on the fun, including Ice Spice, Soulja Boy, Marsai Martin and Vory. “[You] forgot to add Ken Carson in this lineup,” Lil Yachty said, while Cash Cobain wrote, “Drizzy too slizzy.”

On Aug. 23, Drake dropped “Circadian Rhythm,” the Playboi Carti-assisted “No Face” and “SOD.” The songs served as a follow-up to another set of three tracks that he released earlier in the month.

During the “Joe Budden Podcast,” the “Pump It Up” rapper discussed Drake possibly gearing up for round two in his high-profile exchange with Kendrick Lamar. “I don’t think this has sat well with him. I think he’s doing a decent job now in post-battle recovery,” the New York native claimed. “If you’re going to do it, I don’t want to hear, ‘We’re going to win game two.’ I don’t want to hear you promote s**t to [DJ Akademiks]. I just want you [to go] in your cave with your team and do it.”
