Here at Vanity Fair, we like to think that Oscar night doesn’t really begin until best picture is announced. Not because we don’t care deeply about who wins the evening’s shiniest statuette—we care, we really care!—but because that’s when the Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2025 officially kicks off.
Actually, the festivities begin even before that, with an intimate dinner and Oscar viewing party hosted by VF editor in chief Radhika Jones. This year, actor and filmmaker Francesca Scorsese was on hand to interview celebrity guests at the event. And after it wrapped, the main attraction began: VF’s annual Oscar party, featuring glamorous guests, copious In-N-Out burgers, and more than a few shiny golden statuettes. Where else could you see newly-minted Oscar winners mingling with assorted other A-listers, musical icons, titans of industry, and up-and-coming young talent—as well as the year’s most celebratory red carpet, featuring color commentary from host Tan France and correspondents Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner?
