How to Make Armor in LEGO Fortnite

The way armor works in LEGO Fortnite is a bit different than most similar survival games. Instead of making physical armor you can wear for your character, armor in this mode can be crafted in the form of charms and totems, which increases your character’s hearts and gives them more resistance. Once crafted, you can then equip the charm or totem by dragging it to your ‘armor’ slot.

Crafting armor requires you to head to your Crafting Station and select the shield-like icon. There, you’ll find loads of items that can boost your character’s defensive capabilities, from Health Charms to Hearty Totems. You’ll also find options to craft shields for your character, although this doesn’t exactly increase your hearts, it’s also a useful item to have during explorations.

Additionally, you should know that in order to craft higher-tier charms, you will need to upgrade your Crafting Station. Doing this does take a bit of work, but it’s worth it because you get to discover new recipes along the way.
