John J. Cobb is an ordained Baptist minister who serves as one of seven associate ministers of Shiloh Baptist Church of Waukegan. He resides in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, with his wife of 50 years. John Cobb has two children, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He is a former writer for the National Baptist Convention USA Inc. Sunday School Publishing Board. Minister Cobb has earned several certificates of learning from the former Ligonier School of Theology (Canada). He is a preacher, keynote and conference speaker, and workshop facilitator. In addition to being the author of Lord, When? he also authored From Death to Life: an overview of the foundational doctrine of the Christian Faith.
