Kim Kardashian Walks Runway as Surprise Model for Paris Fashion Week
Kim Kardashian is taking her love of fashion to new places.
The SKIMS founder made a surprise walk down the runway for Balenciaga’s Fall 2025 couture collection at Paris Fashion Week on July 9 in honor of Demna‘s final show as a designer for the brand.
For the monumental moment, Kim strutted down the catwalk in a form-fitting satin midi dress with lace trim and spaghetti straps. To complete the look, the 44-year-old wore a coordinating cream-colored fur coat draped off her shoulders, accessorized with a statement Lorraine Schwartz necklace and styled her hair in a classic Hollywood glam-inspired bob.
As for how the ensemble came together? Kim’s mom Kris Jenner provided insight into Demna’s inspiration while celebrating her daughter’s fashion feat.
“Kim’s look was a stunning tribute to Elizabeth Taylor,” Kris wrote on Instagram July 9 alongside several photos and videos of Kim donning her vintage-inspired ‘fit, “and Kim is wearing Elizabeth’s personal diamond pendant earrings from Lorraine Schwartz’s private collection.”
And Kim was equally in awe of the storied clothing she was tasked with wearing for the occasion. As the reality TV personality gushed alongside her own Instagram recap of the show, “Walking Demna’s last Balenciaga Couture show dripping in Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and wearing Elizabeth Taylor’s own diamond earrings from her private collection.”

But that’s not the only time Kim turned heads on the day of the event. Ahead of her stint on the runway, the Kardashians star arrived at the Parisian location rocking a second stunning Balenciaga look, which featured a white halter maxi dress with a front slit and matching thigh-high boots.
Still, for Kim—who was named a Balenciaga ambassador in 2022—wearing an Elizabeth Taylor-inspired outfit was extra special, considering her longtime admiration for the Cleopatra actress.
