Manga ‘Around 40 Otoko no Isekai Tsuuhan Seikatsu’ Gets TV Anime in 2025
Production company Kadokawa opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Hifumi Asakura and Umiharu‘s Around 40 Otoko no Isekai Tsuuhan Seikatsu (The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World) manga on Saturday, revealing a teaser visual (pictured) and a teaser promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2025.
Voice actor Junichi Suwabe (Black Clover) is starring as the main character Kenichi Hamada.
Umiharu began serializing the manga adaptation of Asakura’s isekai fantasy light novel in GFantasy magazine in April 2019 and ended on May 17. Square Enix shipped the seventh volume on February 27. Square Enix also began releasing the manga through its Manga UP! service and Comikey since June 2023.
Asakura originally began writing the novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in September 2017. SB Creative began publishing the light novel under its Tugikuru Books imprint with illustrations by Yamakawa (Isekai Yururi Kikou) in May 2018. The third volume went on sale in April 2019.
Synopsis
Kenichi, a single man who’s almost 40, is suddenly transferred to another world. As he navigates his way through the dangerous forests of that world, he realizes that he can use a huge online shopping site.
