A lifesize Jujutsu Kaisen Prison Realm pop-up has been installed in Hong Kong as part of a new limited collaboration with Casetify. The pop-up is coming hot off the heals of Jujutsu Kaisen’s latest season (see our review here), and is the latest media collaboration for the popular Japanese anime—which also featured characters Satoru Gojo, Nobara Kugisaki, and Megumi Fushiguro as skins within Fortnite last year.
Fans and members of the public wil be able to see the 13-foot high Prism Realm, which design mirrors Casetify’s new Prison Realm Collectible AirPods Pro Case, from February 3-8.
Jujutsu Kaisen Prison Realm Collaboration
Fans in Hong Kong will also have the chance to purchase an exclusive Jujustu Kaisen phone cases while the installation is up. This isn’t the first time Casetify has installed a notable anime pop-up in effort to promote its tech accessory collaborations; in the summer of 2023, Neon Genesis Evangelion fans were able to check out a EVA-01 bust in the middle of a busy district in Toyko, Japan.
When it comes to the new Jujutsu Kaisen collab, there is also the opportunity to purchase some of the new tech accessories without having to visit the pop-up in Hong Kong. The limited edition series can be preordered directly from Casetify’s online store (see here), with the phone cases cost between $72-82 USD, an AirPods Pro case for $138, plus a few other accessory items that start from $42.
Those purchasing any items from the Jujutsu Kaisen collab online will also be receiving a random collectible character card, featuring characters such as Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Satoru Gojo, Kento Nanami, and Ryomen Sukuna.
For those new to Jujutsu Kaisen, it follows Yuji Itadori as he enrolls in Jujutsu High School to become a Sorcerer to avoid death by exorcism after becoming cursed by a talisman finger he swallowed to protect his friends and a Sorcerer from the demon who held the same finger.
Jujutsu Kaisen recently featured on our Top 15 Shonen Anime Series of All Time and has proven that it can quickly become one of the most memorable and exciting action anime out there, even with just two seasons and counting so far.
Casetify recently attracted controversy last year after being sued for plagurism by rival tech accessory company Dbrand and YouTuber ‘JerryRigEverything’. Casetify has since released a statement acknowledging that it removed the accused designs from its store.
