The influencer community is mourning a tragic loss.

Reyna Dunlap—who amassed nearly 83,000 followers on X (formerly Twitter) under the name “The Nude Queen”—was found dead in a vacant house in Cleveland, Ohio, the Cleveland Police Department confirmed to Scene Jan. 21. She was 33.

Reyna was discovered by authorities nearly three months after she flew from her native Maryland to Cleveland to audition for the reality TV series, Baddies Midwest, according to the outlet.

Officials believe her death was due to an overdose, a spokesperson for the Cleveland Police Department told Scene. However, an official cause of death has not been determined.

Prior to Reyna’s passing, her family shared that they had lost touch with the influencer and were hoping to investigate her whereabouts.

“It’s very, very important because something bad has happened to her,” her sister Kira Dunlap explained in a tearful Jan. 6 TikTok, “and we’re trying to figure out what happened.”

Noting that she had lost contact with Reyna “about a month ago,” she added, “If anybody knows anything please message me and let me know. I’m really counting on you guys.”

The following day, Kira provided a devastating update, commenting under her post, “She’s dead unfortunately. And I’m trying to get answers as to who she was with in Ohio.”

In the wake of the tragedy, Reyna’s mom Karen Jones paid tribute to her daughter’s one-of-a-kind presence.

“She loved being the center of attention,” Karen told 19 News in an interview published Jan. 23. “She just wanted to be a positive or negative force in people’s lives.”

And though she said Reyna could also be described as “very controversial,” Karen emphasized that her daughter always had good intentions.

“Reyna was kind, loving, and generous to a fault,” her mom added. “She loved being around people and loved being the center of attention.”
