RPGamer has been covering RPGs since 1998, with the current version of the site launched in 2018. Due to the wholesale change in our back-end and systems only certain content created from 2018 onwards has been carried over to our new site. I didn’t get much video game-related, but it includes one amazing gift! I received two Amiibos, Robin and Tiki. I also got a custom plush of Noishe Lloyd’s giant doglike companion from Tales of Symphonia. It is so adorable! ^_^
QotW: Ring Fit Adventure was an early “Christmas gift” that I selected for myself. I was also gifted $50 credit for the PS4 store, and so far I’ve purchased digital copies of Tokyo Xanadu Ex+ (Falcom), Illusion of L’Phalcia (Kemco alert), and Legend of the Tetrarchs (Kemco alert), all of which are currently on sale.
No one buys me gifts anymore, so I live through what I buy others… bought Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition on Switch for my son and me to play together. He’s finally old enough that we can do some co-op RPG gaming together and it’s going well. Also bought a boatload of Pokemon card decks and have been battling like crazy online and with my son. My birthday is coming up next week, maybe “we” need Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 next!
QotW: As far as gaming’s concerned, the missus bought nearly all the remaining Gen 1 Skylanders I’ve been missing (except 1) (Yes, my wife and I still play the original Skylanders game from time to time), a 1500 VA Battery Backup for my studio recording/streaming PC setup, a Sega Genesis Mini, a PlayStation Classic, and this usb dongle that’s suppose to give the PlayStation Classic 101 more games ^^;
I made out like a f-ing bandit this year because I married such a wonderful woman.
