Strawberry Prince Jel’s ‘Tooi-san’ Video Series Adapted for Anime Movie in Summer 2025
The Strawberry Memory Vol. Forever!! “Strawberry Prince Best Album Release Party 2025” event announced an anime movie adaptation of band member Jel’s Tooi-san video series on Sunday. The movie will open in theaters in Japan in Summer 2025.
Jel is credited for the planning, script, storyboards, character design, and voice acting. Group leader Nanamori. is in charge of planning and overall production. The production committee consists of STPR Inc. and advertising agency Dentsu. Film production company Shochiku will distribute the movie.
The Tooi-san video series debuted on X (formerly Twitter) in April 2019. The series contains over 1,000 videos on YouTube, TikTok, and other platforms, garnering over 10 billion views combined.
The SutoPuri Movie: Hajimari no Monogatari – Strawberry School Festival!!!, based on the group, premiered in Japan on July 19 last year.
Formed in 2016, Strawberry Prince became well-known for their vibrant performances and engaging social media presence after sharing covers of popular songs and original music on platforms such as YouTube and X (Twitter). The group has performed theme songs for Cardfight!! Vanguard: overDress Season 2, Cardfight!! Vanguard: will+Dress Season 2, and Youkai Watch Jam: Youkai Gakuen Y – N to no Souguu.
