As if Black Friday shopping wasn’t already putting enough stress on our credit cards, our bank accounts now have yet another thing to worry about this weekend: a new Taylor Swift release. (Cue the collective screams of Swifties everywhere.)
ICYMI: to commemorate the end of Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour — which comes to a formal close on Dec. 8 in Vancouver, Canada — the pop star is releasing a special-edition coffee table book, filled with personal reflections (written by Taylor herself), behind-the-scenes photos, and other unique insights that offer a glimpse into how the concert phenomenon came to life.
“This tour has been the most wondrous experience and I knew I wanted to commemorate the memories we made together in a special way,” Swift wrote in an Instagram post back in early October, teasing what fans could expect from her latest release.
Aptly titled “The Official Eras Tour Book,” the hardcover collectible debuted in Target stores nationwide on Black Friday, Nov. 29. And for those looking to avoid the presumable craze of Swifties and avid Target moms in stores, the book will also be available to purchase online at Target.com beginning Saturday, Nov. 30, along with vinyls and CDs of her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology.”
In true Taylor Swift fashion, the hardcover book is reportedly chock full of Easter Eggs and other details that play into the massive lore surrounding the musician’s career. For starters, the book has 256 pages, which — when added together (2 + 5 + 6 = 13) — equal Swift’s lucky number 13 (because of course). Per Target, the coffee table book also includes over 500 images, as well as “never-before-seen performance photos” from all of her different eras. And perhaps most intriguing: It will be published under the singer’s self-titled publishing company, Taylor Swift Publications. (Surprising no one, speculation about additional literary projects is already running rampant on Swiftie Twitter.)
Whether you’re looking for a unique way to memorialize your Eras Tour concert experience or are simply sourcing gift ideas for the Taylor Swift fan in your life, this Eras Tour book is a great buy that’s bound to sell out fast. Keep reading to shop the coffee table piece, along with other similar Taylor Swift books below.
