All My Children’s Cameron Mathison Shares Devastating Video of Los Angeles Fire Destroying His Home
Paris Hilton is sharing insight into the devastation caused by the Los Angeles fires.
The heiress—who shares kids Phoenix, 2, and London, 14 months, with husband Carter Reum—reflected on the loss of her Malibu home after returning to see the damage firsthand.
“I’m standing here in what used to be our home, and the heartbreak is truly indescribable,” Paris wrote in the caption of a Jan. 9 post on social media, alongside a video of her completely charred house. “When I first saw the news, I was in complete shock—I couldn’t process it. But now, standing here and seeing it with my own eyes, it feels like my heart has shattered into a million pieces.”
Paris reflected on all the milestones her family reached in their home.
“This house wasn’t just a place to live—it was where we dreamed, laughed, and created the most beautiful memories as a family,” she continued. “It was where Phoenix’s little hands made art that I’ll cherish forever, where love and life filled every corner. To see it reduced to ashes—it’s devastating beyond words.”
The 43-year-old emphasized the massive destruction of not just her home—as well as stars’ including Anna Faris, Milo Ventimiglia and Billy Crystal—but entire neighborhoods of Los Angeles.
“What breaks my heart even more is knowing that this isn’t just my story,” she explained. “So many people have lost everything. It’s not just walls and roofs—it’s the memories that made those houses homes. It’s the photos, the keepsakes, the irreplaceable pieces of our lives.”
And while as unable to hold back the sadness caused by the devastation, she expressed gratitude for her loved ones remaining safe.

“In this pain, I know I’m incredibly lucky,” she added of her family making it to safety. “That’s the most important thing, and I’m holding onto that gratitude with everything I have. And beyond grateful to all the firefighters, first responders and volunteers risking their lives to fight these fires.”
Paris also shared resources for helping those affected by fires to her Instagram Story, and tried to end her note with a hopeful tone.
“To everyone going through this pain, please know you’re not alone,” she concluded. “We’re in this together. We will rebuild, we will heal, and we will rise stronger than before. Let this be a reminder to hold your loved ones close. Cherish the moments. Life can change in an instant, and it’s the love we share that truly matters.”
