Welcome to Derry: The It Prequel Series Gets Its First Terrifying Teaser Trailer

Welcome to Derry, the upcoming It prequel series, has received its first terrifying look the same night as the Season 2 finale of House of the Dragon.

Despite Bill Skarsgård’s Pennywise the Clown not making an appearance, these six seconds of footage set the tone for a series that’s not for the faint of heart.

Alongside a good view of the ‘Welcome to Derry, Maine: Birthplace of Paul Bunyan’ sign, we see a group of terrified people – some covered in blood and some type of goo – and an older child with a creepy smile that will haunt my dreams tonight for sure.

Welcome to Derry will serve as a prequel to the recent It films by director Andy Muschietti. While it was first reported that Bill Skarsgård would not be returning as Pennywise, things seemingly changed and now he will be returning once more as the iconic clown.

The horror series is set to have nine episodes when it arrives at some point in 2025, and Muschietti will be directing four of them.
