Due to the unnamed main staff member of Golden Kamuy’s fourth season passing away on November 1, the staff decided to postpone episodes 7 through 13 of the anime. After some deliberation, the production committee and the anime’s studio, Brains Base, decided on the delay because the announcement stated the main staff member who passed away was “indispensable” to the production.
According to the anime’s official website, which announced the news on Wednesday, the first episode of the fourth season of the Golden Kamuy anime, which will complete episode 37 for the whole franchise, will air on April 3 at 11:00 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX and BS11. On the official Twitter account, a trailer was aired.

Also, there have been changes in the main staff of anime; now Shizutaka Sugahara is the chief director, replacing director Hitoshi Nanba. Noboru Takagi is returning to oversee the series scripts. Takumi Yamakawa is the new character designer, replacing Kenichi Ohnuki.
While the loss of the staff member was heartbreaking for the company as well as the fans of Golden Kamuy. It is good news that the anime is still coming back after such a major setback, but we are pretty sure that the fourth season of Golden Kamuy will not disappoint the fans.
