Patagonia March 2025 Sale: Save Over 50% on Editor-Approved Clothing and Gear

WHILE THE WINTER weather is starting to wane, we’re still in the middle of that awkward transitional stage where the temperature remains unpredictable, with highs and lows seemingly all over the place. Fortunately, it’s also a great time to get your favorite winter gear on sale, as companies are starting to mark down their 2024 winter inventory ahead of the spring season while it’s still decently cold out. Patagonia’s Web Specials section, which updates semi-regularly, currently has some brand-new, eye-opening deals on a bunch of its winter clothing and gear.

Patagonia gear can be on the pricier side, as you’re typically paying for top-of-the-line quality with sustainability in mind, so this is a welcome sale for those who want to save a little money on high-end outdoor accessories.

Thanks to the Web Special’s latest restock, you can save up to 50 percent on all types of gear, from jackets to vests to joggers. And since it’s a brand-new refresh, you’ll likely find your size on most of the clothing items marked down. (Something to remember when you’re browsing, though: Only select colors or styles are discounted.)

While the sale can be overwhelming for some first-time shoppers, we’re here to help. Below, we’ve broken down some of our favorite editor-approved Patagonia gear on sale for March.

The Men’s Lightweight Synchilla Snap-T® Fleece Pullover—a classic Patagonia look—is currently over 50 percent off in a few different styles. Across Oceans: Pitch Blue, Synched Flight: New Navy, and Shelter Brown are all presently marked down under $70.

The iconic 1/4-zip Better Sweater also has a couple of different styles on sale—Island Escape: Forge Grey and Burnished Red are over 50 percent off. I love my Better Sweater quarter zip—in fact, I’m wearing it as I type this up. Mine is a basic Stonewash Grey, but I’m very tempted to grab a second style in Forge Grey, since the pullover is lightweight, comfortable, and super warm, ensuring that I’ll wear it in weather typically far too cold for a simple sweater. I’ll even occasionally throw a polo on underneath to give myself a little more of an office-casual look.

Another one of our favorites is also deeply discounted—the Silent Down Parka. Previously highlighted as the best puffer-style parka jacket, the Silent Down Parka is ultra-warm, largely due to 100 percent reclaimed 700-fill-power duck and goose down. Our testing editors found this to be surprisingly lightweight, making it an excellent option for snow sports as well. With the cold weather apparently not yet behind us, this is a solid option for the remainder of this winter—and ahead of next year’s similarly frigid season.

You can purchase gently used (typically stuff that’s returned after one or two uses) at a reduced price.
