WE CAN’T STOP shopping end-of-season sales—especially when retailers like REI are dropping prices on editor-favorite brands like Patagonia. The outdoor clothing brand behind some of our favorite pieces is currently up to 40 percent off during REI’s August sale, and we combed through the sale section to find the best deals.

We have to start with the Nano Puff Jacket being less than $200 right now. Our editors tested the lightweight, packable outerwear and were thoroughly impressed by its versatility. The overall design has an outdoorsy look that’s easy to pair with hiking pants and boots, or even with jeans and a tee.
