There’s Hope For A Vulgar Deadpool 4 Adventure
FOR ANY NEWCOMERS, Deadpool & Wolverine, which stars Ryan Reynolds as the irreverent superhero and Hugh Jackman as the brooding, complex Wolverine, sees the duo join forces to do battle against the villainous Omega-level mutant Cassandra Nova. Nova plans to destroy the multiverse using a “Time Ripper” created by the Time Variance Authority (TVA) from Loki. Along the way, they encounter a few bumps in the road (literally) and must learn to put their very big personalities aside to save the multiverse.
The film was a huge hit in its opening weekend at the box office, and most fans seem to be pleased with the Marvel crossover. It leaves fans wondering whether this dynamic duo will ever team up on the big screen again, in whatever capacity that might be.
And, of course, the big question: will there ever be a Deadpool 4?
Will There Be a Deadpool 4?
The end of Deadpool & Wolverine left fans gripping their seats, as the fates of two of Marvel’s biggest characters, for a while, are up in the air. Would Marvel dare kill off two of its most popular characters? The answer is a resounding no, as the duo manage to work together and defeat the Time Ripper, and avoid being atomized. This gives hope to fans that both characters remain alive and could potentially return to the big screen, especially with both Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars on the horizon.
The Avengers, probably, are going to need all they can get to defeat Doctor Doom (set to be played, confusingly, by Robert Downey Jr.)
Despite no real news or confirmation about the film franchise continuing, Reynolds took time to speak with Variety and give fans some hope about his iconic character’s future.
“I could see any version of it. I can imagine a solo movie or being part of an ensemble. I can also imagine that this might be the last time. I never feel anything other than that,” the actor said.
However, the actor did recently tease on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that the chances of him reprising the role was slim.
“My wife and children will divorce me. Jimmy, I have no prenup with any of them. I will be capital ‘B’ broke, and in turn, probably then doing Deadpool 4 because I’d need the money” he said.
Whether this is the end of the Marvel series or just the beginning of a new era for films, one thing’s for sure: Deadpool & Wolverine has made its mark in the Marvel universe.
