Shigaraki takes back control in Chapter 379 of My Hero Academia, titled “Hopes.”
As the battle continues, Lady Nagant refuses to succumb to her injuries and just rests in the hospital while she can still fight. She takes to the rooftop and snipes both of Shigaraki’s hands; it is the least she can do for Deku.
Meanwhile, All For One screams in frustration as his plan begins to crumble before his eyes, the pawn he thought he had complete control over has proven much more ingenious than he assumed. Shigaraki is back, and now the actual fight begins.

Now that Shigaraki has regained control, the actual fight between Deku and him begins, and he can go all out without One For All. He has, however, recovered his hands, and the constant threat of Decay is strong enough for him to fight on.
Meanwhile, Lady Nagant is out of the battle yet again and will likely not rejoin. We may also see an update on Toga and Uraraka’s fight and a way to stop Sad Man’s Parade since it is still spreading rampantly.

Lady Nagant continues to power through even with her injuries and pushes herself to get to the rooftop and begin sniping the enemies, even with doctors chasing after her. She recalls what Deku told her and needs to continue fighting.
At this point in the battle, they’re relying on Deku, and he needs all the help he can get. She has one shot left before she is entirely incapacitated, and she recalls her childhood and the reasons she has to live.
With her final shot, she takes out Shigaraki’s remaining arm leaving him unable to use Decay on the ground, and we see a shot of an enraged All For One screaming at his failure.
Shigaraki scoffs at All For One, who was supposedly the big “Master of Manipulation” but is now reduced to nothing more than an embarrassment. He who brought Shigaraki up to be a part of his big scheme to torment All Might.
The plan evolved more, and eventually, he took control of Shigaraki’s body as well as his hatred to steal One For All, but the fact is that he never took control of his origin. Shigaraki was against it entirely, and he hid the origin deep inside his heart.
All For One doesn’t suspect a thing as his origin takes back control, and he screams at Kurogiri to help him and transport him to the other body. But Kurogiri’s loyalty lies not with All For One but with Shigaraki.
Shigaraki lashes out in rebellion; he doesn’t need One For All, nor does he need to be All For One’s pawn. He is his individual with a motive and a heart just like theirs. Now that he’s back in control, he will destroy everything that has to do with that house.
His arms begin reattaching, and Deku realizes what has happened; he can’t fight him in the cage anymore, but he has no choice but to continue regardless.
