Poetry is an innovative concept superyacht from Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design

I’m just going to come out and say it. I love each and every concept yacht that the forward-thinkers at Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design unveil every year. I love them because they are different. I love them because they are beautiful. And most of all, I love the way they combine the pure art and imagination of skies-the-limit superyacht design with raw computing power to produce photo realistic renderings that allow us to see the future. Sort of.

Take Poetry for instance. To me, it seems to be more than just another fanciful idea. Sure, it’s a concept. But unlike other wild concepts that are obviously created to attract a buzz rather than actually get built. I wouldn’t be surprised to see something like Poetry come to life in the future. And so does designer Sander Sinot.

“Poetry represents a next generation yacht design”, he says. “The strong exterior lines of Poetry are driven by hydrodynamics and architecture – a solid nautical platform, hosting an open-space plan defined by three-dimensional thinking, to precisely accommodate functions, needs, and desires. Transparency and openness are the hallmarks of the superstructure, offering undisturbed views and unobstructed deck space fore, aft, port, and starboard side.”

And relocating the wheelhouse to a more functional spot at the bow is extremely interesting. “This makes the prime location of Poetry, the highest deck, available to the most important user: the owner,” Sinot adds. “Since privacy is key, the owner’s deck is highly secluded – no crew, guests or others need be on this deck, unless invited. The owner and his or her loved ones have the entire deck for themselves.”

Even the massive closets have floor to ceiling views!

With four guest state rooms, two VIP state rooms, and the owner’s stateroom, Poetry has room for 14 to live in peace and luxury. Below the highest deck that’s reserved for the owner’s pavilion there is a private dining with an open kitchen, a large multimedia cinema and an exploration room, for charting routes together with the captain.

The bridge in the bow is an innovative use of space.

The main deck contains VIP suites and guest cabins that enjoy the setup of the bed to the axis of the yacht to guarantee full sea views, as well as private loggias, and at the bow a state-of-the art wheelhouse designed as a cockpit with frontal and side views.

Towards the aft, large semi-al fresco dining and lounging is possible, connected to the aft exterior deck with infinity pool. Inside on the lower deck you will find an extensive wellness, as well as secure sea-access located next to the large beach club.

And this not the only new concept that Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design have introduced recently. Stay tuned for more inspired superyacht concept design.
