What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?
What makes me a top prospect in this upcoming draft is that I am very versatile and can play any position on the defensive line with a high motor.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
One thing that teams should know about me is I am highly driven and my work ethic is a plus. Coming from high school I wasn’t highly recruited. So I took the division 2 route but it molded me into the man I am today.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
If I could donate to one cause in the world today it would be the homeless. Living in Houston and Tulsa really opened my eyes up and showed me how blessed I am to have some type of living situation. Going off to college by myself was a hard transition as it is so and I know the homeless have worse situations than that.
Who was your role model?
I would say my mom is my role model. Just watching her get up everyday, work hard, and sacrifice a lot of her time and energy raising me and my other 2 siblings showed me how to work hard for myself.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
I honestly don’t have a favorite NFL team. But if it was one team I could play for it would be the Texans.
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
When it comes to Angelo State I’m going Zorhan Rideaux who is also training for his pro day as well. At Tulsa, I would have to say Tai Newhouse.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve is do unto others as you would have them do to you.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
My favorite teacher growing up was my 8th grade English teacher Mr. Whitmore (Stacey Whitmore). He is currently the principal at the middle school I attended.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
I would say the hardest moment in my life was getting injured first game of the 2021 football season after having a 4 game COVID season that I didn’t see any playing time in. That injury set me back for most of the 2021 season. I worked hard throughout the recovery process and came back during spring ball and worked my way into a starting spot the following season.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?
I would go Texas Roadhouse.
What is your favorite snack food?
Favorite snack would be fruit snacks.
What is your degree in?
I have my Bachelor’s degree in Border and Homeland Security.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
I would go Aaron Donald so I could talk a lot of football. Next would be Nick Saban so I could pick his brain and see why he is such a successful person. Lastly, I’ll go my great grandmother just to see her one more time.
What is your biggest weakness?
My biggest weakness is being too hard on myself at times when sometimes you just have to relax and move on
