What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Growing up with 7 siblings, my oldest brother played, and I spent time with my granny, and my uncles were there and they played and that’s what made me want to be a football player.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Winning the PAC 12 championship two years in a row.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Just to have a successful career in the NFL, get better as a player and set records in the league.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

Past De’Anthony Thomas, he was my favorite football player growing up. Present Patrick Surtain II because I would love to see how he’s as good as he is and how he studies and practices.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My oldest brother, he passed away at 21 and he was the most ambitious person I knew and he played football and he was the one who inspired me the most with his work ethic.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

Man coverage, because when I started at Utah that’s what we ran most of the time but besides that cover 3 getting to see the quarterback all the time.

What should we know about Zemaiah Vaughn the person?

I love family, have good character, strong provider, honest person. Who loves taking care of family.

What stands out about your film the most?

Physicality, length and speed in the game and intelligence I play with.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Have a short-term memory when adversity happens, have a next play mentality and move on to the next thing.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A hard worker, man with a lot of knowledge about the game, a leader and someone willing to help wherever including special teams.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

Football teaches you more than just the game, good life skills and it takes you places you’ve never been before.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Devin Lloyd, he taught me a lot about the game and pushed me to go the extra mile and that just inspired me.
