Amidst a difficult and turbulent 2024 campaign that saw head coach Dennis Allen be fired after a 2-7 start, Rizzi stepped up to the plate and led the Saints to a 3-5 record.
He brought a spark of energy and excitement to the Saints and their fans and made a difficult season a lot more enjoyable to rewatch.
This move will reunite him with Sean Payton and return him to a role he’s seen nothing but success with thus far in his career.
