‘Canelo hands’… Belal Muhammad promises no takedowns as he makes bold prediction ahead of UFC 315

Belal Muhammad is adamant he will replicate Canelo Alvarez, when he goes head-to-head with Jack Della Maddalena.
‘Remember the Name’ is set to attempt to make the first defense of his throne at UFC 315, inside the Bell Centre, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
However, while many expect the American-Palestinian to take a grappling heavy approach, he denies this will be his method to victory.
Instead, the 36-year-old is adamant that he will outstrike his Australian foe.

Belal Muhammad was mocked by UFC fans after his trainer compared him to Canelo Alvarez. However, rather than shying away from the jokes, he has instead leaned into them, making a very interesting claim.
The fighter, who’s renowned for his wrestling credentials, has told the world, that only does he have the best hands in the 170-pound weight class, but the entire organization.
In an episode of The Coach and The Casual, he said: “I’m going to go in there, I’m going to outbox Jack. I’m not going to shoot one takedown, and I’m going to show him the meaning of Canelo hands.
“I’m going to show the UFC fighters, the fans, that I’m the best boxer in the UFC, the best boxer in the welterweight division. Trust me, you guys wanna tune in. Don’t miss it.”
