Cowboys at Eagles inactives: Eric Kendricks is active
The Cowboys are getting closer and closer to kicking things off against their bitter rival on the road, and it’s a game that already features plenty of names being unable to go due to injuries. Now, we know exactly who will and won’t be playing today:
Of course, the biggest news is CeeDee Lamb, who was added to the injured reserve earlier this week. With the receiver’s season now ended, the Cowboys are likely to turn to younger players like Jalen Tolbert and Jalen Brooks, both of whom are active despite being listed as questionable coming into today.
Cornerback Amani Oruwariye was also moved to the injured reserve this week, and the expectation is that Israel Mukuamu will fill his role as one of the starting corners alongside DaRon Bland and Jourdan Lewis. Asim Richards was also activated from the injured reserve for this game.
For the second straight week, Eric Kendricks came into the day as a game-time decision, as the linebacker continues to nurse a calf injury that caused him to miss last week’s game. However, this time Kendricks is active and appears ready to play.
T.J. Bass, who didn’t practice all week with a thigh injury, is inactive. Joining him on the inactives list are Kemon Hall, Deuce Vaughn, Matt Waletzko, Princeton Fant, Tyrus Wheat, and Justin Rogers.
As for the Eagles, the biggest news is obviously Jalen Hurts. The quarterback left last week’s game early with a concussion and remains in concussion protocol, which will lead to Kenny Pickett making his first start in over a year. The Eagles lost their first game since late September this past week when Pickett took over late in the first quarter, and now they’ll turn to him with a chance to clinch the division.
