Cowboys at Panthers inactives: Cooper Beebe out, Eric Kendricks in

The Cowboys are less than two hours from kickoff in Charlotte for a road game with the Panthers. Both teams come into this week with lengthy injured reserve lists and lengthy injury reports, but with inactives out now, we know who will and won’t be playing today.

The big name on here is Trevon Diggs, who was ruled out on Saturday with a knee injury. It was also announced that Diggs was expected to undergo season-ending surgery, a blow for the team just a week after he returned to the field from an injury.

Also inactive is Cooper Beebe, who was unable to finish last week’s Monday night game against the Bengals after suffering a concussion. Given the short turnaround time, it was always unlikely that Beebe would be good to go for this one, and he was ruled out earlier in the week. Brock Hoffman will get the start in his place.

Other names on the inactive list are Juanyeh Thomas, Deuce Vaughn, Ryan Flournoy, and Tyrus Wheat.

One notable name not on the list today is Eric Kendricks. The linebacker missed practice all week long for personal reasons, as well as a nagging shoulder injury, and was labeled as questionable for this game. Kendricks was seen warming up before the game as usual, and now he’s officially active and good to go.

As for the Panthers, they’ll be without rookie linebacker Trevin Wallace, who was ruled out earlier this week with a shoulder injury. Wallace is second among linebackers on the team in tackles, and his absence will be felt. Meanwhile, cornerback Jaycee Horn was questionable to play today with a groin injury, but he’s active and good to go.
