Ed Ingram’s Time with the Vikings … Must Be Done?
Kwesi Adofo-Mensah had a heyday with free agency last offseason. Despite limited cap space and knowing he intended to extend Justin Jefferson and Christian Darrisaw, that came. This time around, the general manager should also be expected to open up additional dollars.
When the Vikings went into last season, they decided to commit to Blake Brandel as their left guard option. It took time for Dalton Risner to return and then even longer before he was inserted into the starting lineup. At this point, none of that trio looks like they should be the answer for Minnesota.
Depth on the line is a must for Minnesota. Not only do they need to turn the starting positions over, but they also have to make sure that talent is there to fill out the roster. Any number of players could take Ingram’s roster spot and immediately have a higher ceiling or likelihood to produce.
