Tiger Bech, a 28-year-old former football player from Princeton and brother of Texas Christian wide receiver Jack Bech, was among those killed in the terrorist attack in New Orleans early Wednesday morning. Bech was taken to an emergency room with critical injuries before passing away.

Bech was a two-time All-Conference football player for the Tigers who caught 53 passes for 825 yards and three touchdowns. His younger brother capped off a remarkable senior year where he snagged 62 catches for 1,034 yards and nine touchdowns for the Horned Frogs.

Bech was a receiver and kick returner at Princeton from 2017 to 19. During his three-year career at Princeton.

Bech was working as a stockbroker in New York and was in New Orleans for the holidays.

The attack occurred around 3:15 a.m. CT Wednesday in New Orleans’ bustling French Quarter district.

Police killed the driver of the vehicle in a firefight. It was a terrorist attack. Please keep the Bech family in your prayers.
