Furman Star Football Player Arrested On Peeping Tom Charges
A Furman football player was arrested and charged for invading multiple victims’ privacy on Furman University’s campus.
Joshua Perry Harris, a wide receiver for Furman, placed a hidden video recording device in a campus bathroom or changing room on Sept. 14.
Officials said two male victims and two female victims, who did not give consent, were caught on these cameras undressing.
The arrest warrants stated after further investigation, it was revealed that this act was done to gain sexual gratification.
Harris is facing two counts each of peeping tom and voyeurism charges.
The school says Harris is no longer a student at their University.
Harris was a star wide receiver for the Paladins, who entered the season ranked 12th on Furman’s career receptions chart with 116 catches. Harris led Furman’s receiving corps with 42 catches for 380 yards and two touchdowns last year.
