“Sign All of LeBron’s Friends”: Kevin Love Rejecting $4 Million Heat Option has Lakers Nation Recruiting 5x All-Star

The Miami Heat power forward Kevin Love has declined the player option, as per ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski. Adding to the main update, there are reports that the 35-year-old and the Heat front office are “enthusiastic” about striking a new deal as soon as the free agency period starts on June 30. The 5x All-Star joined the Heat roster in 2023 and has declined a $4 million opt-in. Though the deal regarding his future is not official or confirmed yet, Love’s relationship with the Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has drawn a new conclusion from NBA fans.

Notably, Kevin Love and LeBron both were part of the Cleveland Cavaliers roster that won the 2016 NBA Championship. That’s why both of them share a bond of friendship beyond the borders of league teams.
