Week 4 of the 2024 NFL season will kickoff with an NFC East matchup on Thursday Night Football featuring the Dallas Cowboys (1-2) on the road against the New York Giants (1-2).
The Cowboys lead the all-time series between these teams, 75-46-2, and have won the past six in a row. This Giants, however, do hold a 1-0 lead over the Cowboys in the postseason, beating them 21-7 in the divisional round in January 2018. Dallas and New York are currently battling to avoid last place in the NFC East, so this game will give one team a leg up.
Both teams have had their moments of looking like a dumpster fire this season, but the Cowboys are in a better position to bounce back — they at least have the talent on the roster to turn it around, but based on the sideline demeanor, it might not be so easy. Still, the Giants continue to find new ways to lose, and that means the Cowboys can shake their losing streak before the season goes off the rails.
