Top Three Xayah Counters in League of Legends
Do you need help laning against Xayah in League of Legends? Don’t worry—here are the best champions to help you climb the LoL ladder.
Since her release, Xayah has been one of the premier champions in the Bot Lane in League of Legends. Not only is she always a viable champion, but she is popular amongst the fan base. Xayah sees a lot of cosplayers dress up as them for events, often paired with her lover duo Rakan. Moving back to Summoners Rift, the question is, how do you stop Xayah from completely taking over the game? Stay tuned to this article to find out the three best Xayah counters in League of Legends right now.
Best Xayah Counters in LoL
Miss Fortune
Although crit items are returning, Miss Fortune is still one of the stronger ADCs in the game as she pairs with the lethality items well and is one of the best Xayah counters. MF is a power house when it comes to her auto attacks, as her passive gives you an empowered auto attack every time you hit a new target. Since Xayah is close range, MF will have the opportunity to inflict much damage on her. On top of that, Miss Fortunes W gives her extra movement speed, so she should not have trouble dodging her feathers.
It is best to pair Miss Fortune with a support that has hard crowd control. This is because Xayahs ultimate allows her to dodge incoming CC. So be sure to save your ultimate after she has used hers because it will make it much easier to kill her.
Jhin
Jhin returns for another performance, returning to the top of the ADC pool for patches 14.7 and 14.8. Jhin is back in a big way, putting out more damage than ever and winning the majority of his matchups. Although Jhin is fairly low mobility, which is buffed slightly by Fleet Footwork, he can farm safely at range thanks to his Q, his W will also be able to stun Xayah in place if she gets too close. If you get her low enough, your ultimate is a great counter to hers. Although she can dodge one of the four bullets with her ultimate, she won’t be able to dodge them all, so try to call her bluff and wait for the right moment.
Jinx
Jinx is back and better than ever and is considered the strongest ADC in the game right now. Although the sample size is small, Jinx is looking to be one of the stronger picks into Xayah on patch 14.8. Jinx can match Xayah both up close and in the range game. You shouldn’t be hit by her feathers as your Q rockets can hit her from quite a distance. On top of that, your E could force her to use her ultimate, or if she is that worried she will take cleanse into this match up instead of heal. Your W also slows her tremendously, allowing for your support to apply damage or engage depending on the champion.
Although she has been one of the strongest picks in the bottom lane, Kai’Sa is not good into Xayah, and you should avoid this match-up at all costs. Kai’Sa is relatively weak early on, especially if the enemy player is doing the AP build. With both players being short-range and the player going the AP Kai’Sa build, she will have no attack speed, and Xayah will have no problem being up close and personal with her. Once she does have her AP items online, however, you have to do your absolute best to avoid being hit by her W later into the game; three or four shots of her W, and you will be going back to base.
According to Mobalytics, here are the best champions to play with Xayah in League of Legends on patch 14.7. Please note that this article will be updated as new patches are released.
