The Boston Celtics were about 30 seconds away from losing Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, at home, against the Indiana Pacers.
Trailing by three, Jayson Tatum missed a three-point attempt with 36.1 seconds remaining. But on the ensuing possession, Tyrese Haliburton turned the ball over. The Celtics then missed two shots, but the Pacers again turned the ball over on an inbounds play.
That set up the key moment in the contest, as Jaylen Brown sunk a game-tying three with about six seconds remaining. Haliburton got off a poor, contested attempt on the final possession, the game went into overtime and the Celtics eked out a 133-128 victory.
