The Dallas Cowboys are still just 5-7, but they have momentum on their side following their second straight victory after Thursday’s 27-20 win over the New York Giants.
And Micah Parsons believes the best is yet to come.
The pass-rusher said he believes the team is going to “make a run” despite the trash talk surrounding the team’s start. He also took to social media to reinforce his comments:

Parsons and the defense set the tone Thursday and sacked Drew Lock six times. DeMarvion Overshown also picked off a screen pass and returned it for a touchdown to give the home team the lead in the second quarter.
It never relinquished that advantage.
Part of Thursday’s performance can certainly be attributed to facing a Giants team that is now 2-10 and playing out the string on a lost season. Lock was only under center because the previously released Daniel Jones is now on the Minnesota Vikings and Tommy DeVito was sidelined by a forearm injury.
But the defense looked much better than it has for most of the season, as it entered play 31st in the league in points allowed per game (29.0). If Thursday’s game was an indication of what is to come, the Cowboys could still make a run down the stretch.
The next two games are against the 4-7 Cincinnati Bengals and 3-8 Carolina Panthers, so there is an opportunity to improve to .500.
However, the closing stretch includes games against the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders. Considering Dallas may have to win out to reach the playoffs at 10-7, those games certainly stand out.
But Parsons is still confident after the latest win.
