Frankly, up until Max Holloway’s last-second finish of Justin Gaethje earlier this year Yair Rodriguez’s sensational elbow strike KO of the notoriously tough to finish ‘Korean Zombie’ Chan Sung Jung would have been the clear leader.
Mexican featherweight Rodriguez was down on the scorecards with LITERALLY ONE SECOND remaining on the clock when he squared off with Korean Zombie in Denver, Colorado in November 2018 before he contorted his body to land a back elbow on the advancing Jung — which promptly sent him falling face first to the canvas (and Rodriguez in the eventual direction of a UFC featherweight title shot).
