UFC 300 weigh-in results: 3 title fights set; Kayla Harrison makes weight for UFC debut

Kayla Harrison might have been the most intriguing fighter to step to the scale Friday.

At the official weigh-ins for UFC 300, which takes place Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Harrison weighed in at 136 pounds for her UFC and bantamweight debut. Harrison has primarily competed at the 155-pound limit, winning two lightweight tournaments in the PFL, but she successfully hit the mark for her fight with former bantamweight champion Holly Holm (136).

At the top of the card, title fight participants Alex Pereira, Jamahal Hill, Zhang Weili, and Yan Xiaonan all made weight without issue. Pereira (205) defends his light heavyweight title for the first time when he faces former champion Hill (205), while Zhang (115) goes for the second defense of her second strawweight title reign when she faces fellow Chinese star Yan Xiaonan (115).

“BMF” champion Justin Gaethje also puts his belt on the line when he fights former featherweight champion Max Holloway. The “BMF” title is strictly promotional, so Gaethje and Holloway were permitted to make use of the one-pound allowance for a non-title fight and both did so, coming in at 156 pounds.

All 26 fighters competing on the star-studded card successfully made weight.
