However, the 16-year-old’s team was unable to secure a victory due to a strong performance from Cameron Boozer. Boozer, the son of former NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer, dropped 21 points of his own while shooting 3-3 from behind the arc.

The younger Boozer has dominated throughout the Nike EYBL season, as his averages of 24.3 points and 13.3 rebounds per game lead all players. He’s also dishing out 4.1 assists per game, which ranks No. 7 among all players.

Boozer is a 6’9″ power forward from Miami, ranking as the No. 2 overall player among all prospects in the 2025 recruiting class (via 247Sports’ composite rankings). He’s received offers from Kentucky, Florida, Miami, and North Carolina.

He also visited Duke after receiving an offer from the school that his father spent three years with, including a championship-winning season with the Blue Devils in 2001.

As for James, he ranks as the No. 148 overall player and No. 18 prospect from the state of California in the 2025 class, per 247Sports. He’s received a pair of offers of his own from Ohio State and Duquesne.

While he may not be as highly touted of a prospect as Boozer, James made a strong impression by keeping pace with him on Saturday despite the loss and could have more offers eventually coming his way as a result.

It’s a busy time of the year for the James family, as Bronny James has been participating in the NBA Combine as he prepares for the 2024 draft.
