Watch: Conor McGregor shadow-boxes in the TUF gym as filming gets underway
Ever get a sense of Deja Vu?
All the way back in the summer of 2015, just days after defeating Chad Mendes to claim his first UFC world title, Conor McGregor arrived in Las Vegas to coach opposite Urijah Faber on the UFC’s long-running reality series ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ — and now, some seven years later, here we are again.
Both McGregor and his foil this time, upcoming opponent Michael Chandler, have arrived in Sin City where they have filmed the first day of show. As ever, details are at a premium and little is expected to filter out in the coming weeks before the show’s first airing on ESPN in the US in the coming weeks.

Day one of #tuf31 in the books…couldn’t have gone better. #teamchandler is right where we need to be.

And ahead of what can be considered his return to the UFC (or UFC programming at least) for the first time since suffering a serious leg injury in his most recent bout in the cage, McGregor appears to be feeling at home in the TUF gym — with video footage showing him getting in a brief shadow-boxing session, all while wearing one of his trademark suits.
